Stan D. Brown, Sr, age 76, of Eureka Montana (former long-time resident of Grand Lake), passed away peacefully on Monday, November 12th, 2018, surrounded by his family.
Stan was born in Denver, CO to Claude and Margaret Brown and grew up with 13 siblings. He married Sharlotte McMichael on August 17, 1960. They were married for 58 years. He was a current resident of Lincoln County in Montana and a long-time resident of Grand County. Stan enjoyed the outdoors and mountains. He loved the Lord with all his heart. He had six children and felt blessed to count their spouses as children (Stan and Rebecca Brown, Loren and Sheryl Yusten, Sandra Harper, Ed and Sindy Beckerle, John Brown and one miscarriage). He had a quiver full of grand children - Wes and Angela Yusten, Josh and Rachel Yusten, Sam and Crystal Li, Brandi Roberts, Edwin and Dani Ferrand, Dustin and Amber Rosenbaum, Ashley Brown, Tim Brown, Chris Harper and Sarah Barnett, Mike Harper and Stormie Brandenburg, Sarah Beckerle and Briana Beckerle. He also incredibly had 22 great-grandchildren. Stan was characterized by a strong faith in the Lord, faithfulness, integrity and fierce family loyalty – a beautiful legacy. A memorial service will be held in Stan's honor on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Kootenai Christian Fellowship, 101 3rd St. East, Eureka, Mt.
