Babbs Alcorn

Barbara Diane Alcorn died in the loving arms of her Virginia family on November 6, 2022.  She was born to Sherman Boyd Alcorn and Garnet Goeddertz Foster on April 6, 1963 in Shelby, Montana.  Proceeding her in death were her parents and brother Dale Alcorn.  Her paternal grandparents were Sherman and Lottie Alcorn, maternal grandparents were A.H.( Bus)  and Edna Goeddertz.  She leaves behind her brother Dean (Tracy) Alcorn who reside in Waynesfield, Ohio, niece and nephew Shelby and Jessie Alcorn who reside in Billings, Montana.  She also leaves behind her Virginia family JoAnn Pepe, Robert and Stephanie Sonnenberg, children Gigi and Matt, Timothy and Krystal Dehaba children Ethan, Abby and Clarissa.  Also surviving her is Joedy Foster stepmother, Kalispell, Mt. 

Barbara was a registered nurse.  She worked in her field with excellence for over 25 years.  Her last position was at Mary Washington Hospital intensive care, VA, where she worked for 13 years before her illness.

A celebration of her life will be held at Darlington Funeral home on June 10, 2023 with a time of reflection at 12:00 noon with burial to immediately follow.
