Bonnie Benson

Bonnie Rachel Benson, 92, of Kalispell, passed away at Logan Health Kalispell on February 26, 2025.

She was born on January 27, 1933 in Spearfish S.D., to Louie & Cathryn Sasse. She spent her early life in South Dakota.

She moved to the Flathead Valley in 1948. On January 27, 1951 she married John “Jack” Benson in Kalispell.

Bonnie was a life time member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by all who know and loved her.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Jack in 1985, parents Louie and Cathryn Sasse, sister LaDona Vitt, infant brother Will and grandson Dan Benson.

She is survived by three sons, Ed (Linda), Wayne (Jane) and Monty (Paula). Along with 7 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. And numerous other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. (viewing to begin one hour prior to service) on Tuesday March 4th, at the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, 215 Blacktail Road, Lakeside, MT.
