Diane Hembd

Diane Elizabeth Hembd, 68, lived at 336 Stillwater Loop in Kalispell, and passed away from a heart attack on June 14, 2025, at Logan Health hospital. 

She was born March 12, 1957, in Troy, Ohio to parents, Edward Taylor and Clarice Shirk Taylor. Diane had a long career in health care. She obtained her licensed practical nurse degree from Delta Montrose Votech in 1982. She graduated from Jean's School of Therapy and Technology in 1998. Diane obtained her certificate for reflexology and massage therapy. She worked for Joe Withey of Withey's Health Foods for several years. 

Diane had her own Reflexology & Massage Therapy business in Kalispell. She was a member of the Fun Seekers Corvette Club of Kalispell. Diane loved being outdoors ice fishing and boating. Traveling was her biggest enjoyment, especially Hawaii and Belize. She and Gary, her husband, did a lot of road tripping through many U.S. states and had the time of their lives. She was preceded in death by her father in 1975, her mother in 2016 and her brother in 2013. 

She is survived by her husband, Gary D. Hembd, Sr., married Dec. 31, 2023, sister, Michelle O'Connor of Ohio, daughter, Stacy Taylor of Fort Lupton, Colorado and son, Evan Gardner of Pensacola, Florida. 

Services will be held on Saturday, June 28, 11:30 a.m. with a reception following at Risen Christ Church, officiated by Father Stan. Burial will be at Glacier Cemetery following the reception.
