Duane Carlson

Duane Carlson of Whitefish, MT born June 9,1936 in ND to Arthur and Genevieve Carlson.  He died at home on July 26, 2022.  He is survived by his wife Kathleen, son Mark (Debbie), and daughter Naomi; Grandchildren Travis (Sophie) Carlson, Elizabeth (Cam) Foster, Abby (Mitchell) Church, Coby Carlson, and Samuel Carlson.  Preceded in death by his son Dean Carlson in June of 2013.  After high school he served in the United States Marine Corp.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, storytelling (true or make believe), and his love of firearms and gun powder.  A service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 10:30am.
