Faila Allen Obituary

Faila Eleanora Allen, 65, passed away peacefully in Glacier National Park on May 14, 2021, after an extended illness. Faila was a proud UNC Tar Heel and ECU Pirate, with a long career of service to those with severe mental and physical disabilities. She was passionate about sports, camping, Grateful Dead shows, shoes, and her very large circle of friends. She joins her parents, Gerald “Pearley” Allen and Mabel “Bunnie” Allen; her sister, Joreka Allen Benson; her brother, Robbin Zero Allen; and her beloved dogs over the rainbow bridge. She is survived by her sister, Lynn Allen Hall. No service will be held. To honor her memory, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
