Harold "Bill" William Pickard

Harold "Bill" William Pickard, age 86, of Marion, Montana passed away on Thursday, January 10th, 2019 at his daughter’s home in Marion, Montana.

He was born in San Francisco, CA to Harold W.D. Pickard and Margaret (Neeley) Pickard on May 26, 1932. He and his younger brother John were raised in Weiser, Idaho.

Bill served with United States Air Force in Korea. He was trained as a radio technician and worked for the FAA for 30 years.

Bill married Margaret “Peggy” Palen (Tisdale) on April 15, 1963. He adopted her three children Deborah, Michael and Catherine. Together they had a son Sam. They live in the Great Falls and Ulm area from 1964-2010. Bill moved to Kalispell to be near his daughter Deb in 2010.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife Peggy in 2002 and his parents.

He is survived by his children Deb, Mike, Cathy and Sam; his brother John, 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.

Services are to be announced at a later date.
