Jeffrey Huffman Obituary

Jeffrey Blair Huffman, 66, passed away peacefully at home on April 1st, 2025 with his wife and
daughter by his side after a 13 year battle with Huntington's Disease.

Jeff was born to Lynne and Margery Huffman in Billings, MT on August 4th, 1958. He grew up in
Laurel, MT with his 2 brothers, Lynne Jr. and Roger, and still has many friends there to this day.
He graduated from Laurel High School in 1976, and in 1979 he met his future wife of 45 years,
MaryLou. That same year he was hired for Burlington Northern Railroad where he worked as a
conductor for 33 years. In 1980 they welcomed their only child, Brooke. Jeff loved being with
his family and the three of them were always together.

Jeff loved his family, joking, laughing, music, hunting, vacationing, and the 4th of July. But above
all, he loved to fish. Whether it be fishing for trout in the Yellowstone River near Livingston or in
Alaska catching Halibut. He was also very creative and enjoyed making his own
fishing lures and flies.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lynne and Margery Huffman; brother, Lynne Huffman
Jr.; cousin, Cheryl Brown, and many aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his wife, MaryLou Huffman; daughter Brooke (Zach) Huyser; brother, Roger
(Mary) Huffman; aunt, Frankie Hough, numerous cousins, and special friend, Greg Miller.

A celebration of life is planned in his hometown of Laurel, MT on Wednesday July 2nd, 2025 at
The Front Porch, 109 W. 1st St. from 4:00pm to 6:30pm.

Donations can be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America.
