Jennifer Pervais Obituary

In Loving Memory of Jennifer Michelle Pervais

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jennifer Michelle Pervais on January 9th, 2024, at the age of 36. Jennifer, lovingly known as Jenny.

Born on December 27, 1987, in Scottsdale, AZ, Jenny moved to Montana at the age of 4, where she blossomed into a bright and talented soul. She attended Darby Elementary School in Darby, MT, and lived on her grandfather’s ranch, Chief Joseph Ranch. From an early age, Jenny displayed a passion for art, capturing the beauty of her surroundings through watercolor and oil paintings. Her artistic talents were recognized and celebrated by her teachers.

In her teenage years, Jenny moved to Kalispell, Montana, attending Flathead High School. She became a Sergeant in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program, showcasing her dedication and leadership skills. After the 11th grade, she focused on completing her GED from Flathead Valley Community College in 2005, majoring in Art. Jenny's creativity extended beyond canvas, as she enjoyed crafting costumes for Halloween contests and cosplay. She found joy in playing video games, with World of Warcraft being a longtime favorite. Her annual summer trips to Texas were cherished moments spent with maternal grandparents and extended family.

Some of Jenny's fondest memories include Christmas celebrations at Chief Joseph Ranch and a memorable trip to Martha’s Vineyard with her father to visit Aunties and cousins on the East Coast.

Jenny leaves behind a grieving family, including her parents, Paula and Craig Pervais of Saratoga Springs, Utah, sister Brittany Pervais of Whitefish, MT, and grandfathers, Harlan Lane, Sr. of Sugar Land, TX and Mel Pervais of Elijay, GA. She was the granddaughter of the late Patricia Pervais and Patsy Lane. In addition to her immediate family, Jenny is remembered fondly by a network of aunts, uncles, and cousins scattered across Texas, Connecticut, Illinois and California. Her reach extended beyond borders, touching the lives of tribal relatives from Fort William First Nation in Canada. Jenny's vibrant spirit, artistic talents, and the love she shared with her family and friends will be deeply missed.

A private family celebration of life for Jennifer Michelle Pervais will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Dilico Anishinabek Family Care (dilico.com) in Canada or The Flathead Warming Center in Kalispell (flatheadwarmingcenter.org), to honor Jenny's memory.
