Jim of Columbia Falls passed July 30, 2026.

Jim began working for Great Northern Railroad and finishing his 36 years of railroading with Burlington Northern Santa Fe.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Mary Liggett.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Charis; his children, Sonya (sons Derek, Dylan), Jennifer, James (wife Amanda), Brian (daughters Shayla, Callysta, Chantel), Sharlene (husband Brian, daughters Sidney, Paige) and his brother, Guy.

There will be no service per Jim’s request.
