Kathleen "Kathie" Bauer

Kathleen Elinor Bauer, age 78, died Friday, February 7th, 2020 in Whitefish.

Kathie was born in Billings in 1942 and grew up there.  She attended Carroll College and the Sisters of Charity School of Nursing and enjoyed a long career as a RN including 28 years working at the Flathead Outpatient Surgery Center in Kalispell.

In 1966, she met her Husband of 52 years, Dave.  A few years later they moved to Polson and then to Whitefish in 1979 where she spent the rest of her life. 

Kathie was preceded in death by her father, Floyd; her mother, Lena; and siblings Ray, Charles, Margaret, Loren, Carl and Ellen.

She is survived by her husband, Dave; sister, Anna Lee; and children, Maisie (Greg), Jann (Jeff), Patrick (Kimberly) and Mike (Stacey) as well as eight grandchildren.

Service will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Whitefish on Friday, February 14th, 2020 at 11am.
