Linda Jellar Obituary

Linda Faye “Lu Lu” Jellar (Brown), age 67, passed away on December 15, 2024, in Kalispell, Montana. Born on July 31, 1957, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Linda’s journey was one of compassion, dedication, and unwavering faith.

Linda earned a bachelor's degree in nursing and devoted her professional life to caring for others. For 38 years, she served as an ICU nurse at Kalispell Regional Medical Center (KRMC), where her skill and empathy touched countless lives. In the final chapter of her career, she served as a Nurse Care Coordinator (NCC), continuing to offer guidance and support to patients and colleagues alike. Her commitment to healing extended far beyond the hospital walls—Linda carried a deep spiritual calling that shaped every aspect of her life.

Linda’s first love was Jesus Christ. She was known for her anointing in caring, giving, and praying for healing. Those who knew them witnessed the blessings they carried through their devotion to the word of God. Their faith was not only a personal foundation but also a gift they shared generously with others.

Linda found joy in many hobbies that reflected her creativity and love for nature. Linda spent countless hours crocheting intricate patterns and painting with vibrant colors. Linda's flower garden was a source of pride and peace—a living testament to her nurturing spirit. Linda also enjoyed traveling and embraced the serenity of boating and fishing. Whether playing board games or watching game shows, Linda brought warmth and laughter into every room.

Linda shared her life with their beloved husband Pete Jellar. They were also cherished by stepchildren Clint Jellar and Kayla Jellar; brother Paul Brown and his wife Vikki Brown; nephew Jason Brown; nieces Sahara Brown and Tanya Brown; and father-in-law John Jellar. Linda held close the memory of their mother Imogene Evelyn Brown, father Parker Fay Brown, and mother-in-law Carolyn Jellar.

A devoted animal lover, Linda adored their pets—Petie, Argon, Sadie, Fisher, Butters, Lady, and George—each one a treasured companion who brought joy to Linda's days.

A memorial gathering to honor Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Darlington Funeral Home, located at 3408 US HWY 2 East in Kalispell, Montana.

May Linda’s memory bring comfort to those who knew her and continue to inspire acts of kindness rooted in faith and love.
