Mabel M. Edington, 87, of Libby, Montana, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026.
Mabel was born on July 29, 1939, in San Diego, California to Albert and Mamie Nagy. She graduated from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Mabel worked as a Dental Hygienist in Libby for over 45 years, touching the lives of countless people with her kindness and dedication.
Mabel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She enjoyed gardening, baking, quilting, playing the violin, listening to her music and spending time with her family, especially during holidays and summer gatherings. Her warm smile and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Adam (Yvonne) and Joel (Connie) Christianson; two grandchildren Nicole and Kyle (Kourtney) Christianson, and one great-granddaughter, Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Anthony Nagy.
A Celebration of Life in Libby will be announced at a later date.
