Marj Clark Obituary

Marjorie “Marj” Galloway Jose Clark, 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on April 18th. Marj was born at home in Idaho to William Jose and Dorothy (Galloway) Jose. She was raised in Idaho and lived there until at the young age of 18 she married Charles Clark and moved to Kalispell. Marj and Charles raised five children together until 1981 when Marj relocated to Houston, Texas where she worked as a billing manager for private doctors. She resided there until 1995 when she moved north to New Jersey and then to Pennsylvania as a workman’s compensation adjuster. At 72, she retired and returned to Kalispell to live out her final years. Although she was retired, she kept busy fostering cats and kittens for Kitty Mom Rescues, delivering Meals on Wheels, and working as an election judge before finally fully retiring a few years ago.

Marj was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sister Mary Smith, and brother William “Billy” Jose. She is survived by her sons Jeff (Kir) and Tom (Angie), both of Kalispell and daughters Jan (Rich) of Washington, and Terrie (Brad) and Charlene (Jim), both of Kalispell. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, with 2 more on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews. Finally, she left behind her beloved cats, CeCe, Tigger, and Tango, who are being well cared for by family.
