Martha VonderHeide

Martha J. VonderHeide, 81, of Kalispell, passed away on Friday, September 16,2022.  She was born on March 5th, 1941 to Valley Alvin and Hildegarde Bucher at Adrian, Michigan.  Martha married Fred E VonderHeide on January 21st,1959.  She was a proud mother of her son Steven.

Her hobbies and interests included sheep ranching, crosswords puzzles and jigsaw puzzles.  She enjoyed visiting with friends and family. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, including her father who lived with her during his later years.  She especially enjoyed watching her nieces, nephews and granddaughter.

Survivors include her son Steven VonderHeide; granddaughter Chelsea VonderHeide; sisters Eileen Rollins and Rita Boss; a host of nieces, nephews and other beloved friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred VonderHeide, brothers Larry Bucher, Alan Bucher, Eugene Bucher; sister; Ida VonderHeide; parents Valley Alvin and Hildegarde Bucher

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 1st,2022 at Darlington Funeral Home, 3408 Hwy 2 E Kalispell, MT 59901. Reception to follow at Eagles 37 1st St W, Kalispell, MT 59901. Please bring a dish to share.
