Ruth Kvamme

Ruth E. Kvamme was born on August 6,1934 to Edward Pede and Johanna (Ring) Pede, in Grand Forks, ND.

She married Lief E. Kvamme on August 4, 1956. 

She worked as a switchboard operator until starting a family. She also enjoyed working with fundraisers, reading, doing crossword puzzles and embroidery. 

Ruth is survived by her husband,  Lief E. Kvamme of Kalispell, a son, Jon Kvamme, of Columbia Falls, 2 daughters, Joan (Samuel) Olson, of Kalispell and Karen (Gary) Hall of Spokane,  WA. She was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister,Eileen  Anderson, sister in law  Evie Pede-Fox and 3 brothers  James(Genny) Pede , Richard Pede and Kenneth (Judy)Pede.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Johanna Pede, her father and mother in law, Carl and Anna Kvamme, brothers, Willard, Charles, Robert and David Pede, sister, Yvonne Pede, a grandson, Brian Blevins.

In lieu of flowers/gifts, the family requests that memorial donations be made in her name  to Immanual Lutheran Skilled Care Center or a charity of their choice. 

The family would like to extend special thanks to both Immanual Lutheran Care Center and Darlington Cremation and Burial Service.
