Samuel Wyatt Potts Obituary

November 4, 1991 – December 1, 2024 Samuel “Wyatt” Potts, known to most as Wyatt, passed away unexpectedly on December 1, 2024, at the age of 33. While his time here was far too short, Wyatt managed to fill it with enough love and laughter to last several lifetimes.

Wyatt was born on November 4, 1991, and grew up in the Flathead Valley, where he earned the reputation of being a loyal friend and the kind of guy who could make you laugh even when you didn’t want to. He graduated from Flathead High School and then attended Montana Technical School in Helena. Upon graduation he returned home to Kalispell, where he found not just a career, but a second family at Kalispell Toyota. Over 12 years, Wyatt built lasting friendships, shared countless jokes, and, most importantly, met the love of his life, Teressa Brandt. From the moment Wyatt and Teressa crossed paths, they were inseparable—truly two peas in a pod.

Wyatt had a knack for bringing people together. He had an incredible gift for turning friends into family. Whether you were sharing a fishing trip, a plate of his latest smoked creation, or just a laugh, Wyatt’s presence was magnetic. He was known for his amazing sense of humor, mischievous pranks, and the ability to turn even the most dull moment into something unforgettable.

Wyatt will be remembered by all who knew him for his infectious laughter, his hugs, and his heart as big as the Montana sky that was ready to lend a hand anywhere he was needed. In his honor, we’ll continue to laugh often, savor good food, remind those we love just how much they mean to us, and roll into work 15 minutes late tomorrow morning.

Wyatt leaves behind his soulmate, Teressa Brandt( Ashtyn, Payden and Emmitt); his parents, Mary Latta (Rick) and Ken Potts; his siblings, Jennifer Kelly (Greg), Jessica (Carlos), Dani, Milt (Beverlie), and Amanda; countless nieces and nephews; and his four-legged “kids,” Doc and Cinder. Wyatt, you may be gone, but you’ll never be forgotten. We’ll keep your spirit alive in every laugh, every hug, and every bite of smoked salmon.

Wyatt's celebration of life will be held at Glacier Bible Camp in Hungry Horse on December 15th at 3 pm
