Theresa Logan Obituary

Theresa Logan, devoted wife, loving mother, cherished sister, and dear friend, left us to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 1, 2019.

Theresa was born April 20, 1944 in Kalispell to her parents Russell (“Bub”) and Amber Mero.  Theresa was a lifetime resident of the Flathead Valley. She left behind her husband of over 56 years, John Logan; three daughters and their husbands, Holly and Greg McGiffney, Wendy and Jeff Cicierski, and Jacque’ and Nick Aemisegger; seven grandchildren, Kyle and Kelly McGiffney; Wade, Madison and Brooke Cicierski; Nicholas Aemisegger and Aly Friesen (with her husband Nick), and two great-grandchildren, Blaire and Quinn Friesen; and her siblings, David Mero and Lucille Long.  Theresa was predeceased by her parents, Bub and Amber Mero, and her brother Don Mero.

After marrying the love of her life, John Logan, in 1962, Theresa devoted herself to caring for her family.  Theresa was known for her award-winning bread, her large garden, and her heart for hosting dinners and social events with friends and family.

Theresa’s life was marked by a tremendous passion and zeal to experience all this life had to offer.  Whether she was water skiing, racing go-carts, driving tractor on the family farm, or a truck fully loaded with railroad ties from her father’s sawmill; Theresa embraced each fearlessly.

Theresa’s love for others defined the way she gave her time.  During her younger years, she threw herself into a variety of activities, including teaching Bible Study class to children at Fair-Mont-Egan, serving her church, Beta Sigma Phi, Christian Business Womens Association, being involved in community theater, as well as serving as 4-H leader and camp counselor, just to name a few.

Theresa’s life was one marked by devotion - to her husband of 56 years, her children, grandchildren and friends; but most of all to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She finished the race strong. After spending more than 30 years confined to a wheelchair as a result of her battle with MS, she left this world running into the arms of her Father in heaven, who undoubtedly looked into her sparkling hazel eyes and said, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

There will be a Celebration of Life at 1 pm, on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Faith Covenant Church, 611 3rd Ave E, Kalispell.  The family invites everyone to attend.
